What sort of food does Queen Elizabeth eat daily?

I found an interesting question on quora today and decided to share the article. The questions asks about what people know of what HM, Queen Elisabeth II eat for meals. The source of the article - both the questions and answers, are on www.quora.com. Here it goes...

Answer 1
I have this peculiar habit of reading about what celebrities eat. So, there was a time when I had read about Queen Elizabeth too. Let me acknowledge in the beginning that she maintains a healthy lifestyle. Needless to say, she approves all the recipes on the menu.
·         A low carbohydrate rule is very much a part of Queen’s disciplined diet.Rice, potatoes, and pasta are never served for dinner when the royal is dining on her own. This is probably because of her old age as she cannot utilize the high calories from carbs. Thumbs up to that!
·         She likes the bread crusts to be cut off when she has sandwiches.
·         The Queen loves including fresh fruits like mangoes, strawberries and peaches in her diet.
·         Vegetable salads are always on her menu.
·         She is never served anything with garlic or too many onions. Yes! you guessed it right. To avoid bad breath.
·         She is very particular about the meat she eats. The Royal Chef has to ensure that it is cooked properly and no part is left rare.
However Queen Elizabeth still sneaks in some treats. She absolutely loves chocolate, especially chocolate biscuit cake, chocolate mousse, and chocolate sponge cake.
To Summarize, The Queen is not a foodie. She eats very small portions of her four meals throughout the day except when it comes to chocolate :)

Answer 2
She’s actually quite disciplined.
For breakfast, she’ll have cereal, cornflakes or Special K, with dried or fresh fruit. This she’ll eat alone, because she likes to eat at 9.00, while the Duke prefers to eat at 8:30. She might also just have eggs, toast, and tea.
For lunch, she’ll eat something like grilled sole on a bed of wilted spinach. She insists on no carbs, so no potatoes, rice, pasta…
At around 4, she’ll eat afternoon tea. She loves chocolate, but her favorite indulgences are jam pennies, little biscuit sandwiches with jam in the middle. She is also served scones, but she normally just crumbles them onto the carpet for the corgis to eat… :)
For dinner, she’ll do the same, pretty much, as lunch.
She’ll round off the day with a gin and Dubonnet (1 part gin, 2 parts Dubonnet).
No wonder she made it to 90!

Answer 3
She favors fresh fruits and vegetables grown on her estate or from the farms that Charles owns and oversees. They work with a number of farms across England that support organic and sustainable farming practices. I don't know what kind of meat she favors but I do know she will not eat garlic or onions because of the lingering smell on the breath.

Answer 4
As I understand it, she eats modestly and I suspect simply when alone with her family not least because she perforce she attends many grand dinners.
